Here's the basic old build i ran, I basically use this build to farm FoW.
Tank: OwUTE2nC1peoFvrRERQIRfAQAA
Protective Spirit
Spirit Bond
Shield of Absorption
Spell Breaker[E]
Sympathetic Visage
Vital Blessing
Essence Bond
Blessed Aura
I use SupProt, MajorDivine runes, with HP+30 focus. tht givs about 600hp
if the enemy's spell doesn't concern you (i.e not farming FoW), you can drop Spellbreaker for other elite.
just keep an eye on spiritbond, recast asap
Smite Bonder: ADMRDdM0iUaSUKS5lP8JTA
Blessed Signet*
Signet of Judgment
Bane Signet
Mending
Balthazar's Spirit*
Holy Wrath*
Retribution*
Rebirth*
*=essential skills
sometimes i swap mending for life attunement, if the place i'd farm doesn't have degen.
there 're lots of variable of this build, play around it!
the one i showed was just a sample.
sorry, I don't know how to use skill icon on guruforum (can any1 teach me?)

There are lots version of this build posted, just do a search. Btw it's incorrect calling it the "600hp" build since this build would work with ANY amount of hp as long as you have the right armor.

Actually this build loses it's effectiveness drastically the lower your HP. Holy Wrath and Retribution only work on the damage you recieve after protective spirit reduces it. So if you have 100 health you will only be able to recieve 10 damage with each hit. Holy wrath returns 66%(max of 41) of that which equates to 6.6 damage. If you have 600 HP Protective Spirit reduces it to 60(lowest armor possible). In reality you only get that 60 in areas where the stuff you face has enough damage to be hitting you for over 60 per hit. 66% of that is 39.6 which is almost the max of Holy Rath. Of course having the lowest AR Armor is best to maximaze the damage. Also keep in mind that even though Spirit Bond works considering damage you take before Protecitive Spirit reduces it you still have to be taking at least 60 damage per hit in order to trigger the healing of Spirit Bond.
Hope this clears things up a bit and helps you out.
As a side note Spirit Bond has been nerfed which effectively nerfs the 600HP monk in most places. Spirit Bond used to work as long as you had it up, now it only last for up to 10 hits then goes away. You can still do this build using another skill, noted above, called Shield Of Absorption, however this is not for the fient of heart. In other words it's a tough build and takes practice.

You missed out on the point of my previous post. I hate people calling this build the "600HP Monk" because lots people think you MUST have at least 600 hp for it to work, which is the "inaccuracy" I was talking about. I was one of the first people that ran this build, WAY before Spirit Bond was nerfed, even today this build is still useful in many places including FoW and UW, just need better timing than before and remember not to take on more than you can chew. When I run this build my HP is around 800, and the damage is about 51 from Holy Wrath. I call this the "Spirit Bond" build, because #1 this build works with ANY amount of hp as long as you have minimum armor level (I do with starter pants/shoes, nothing on arm/chest and a party hat for rune), and #2 the MORE hp you have the better this build works, so the number 600 really has NOTHING to do with this build at all.
Hope this clears up my point for you.

Yeah my guild buddys and I used to 3 man Urgoz Warren with this build all the time until it got nerfed. Also did UW with it as well as FOW. I'm very versed in this build. I realize that you can still use Sprit Bond with much smaller groups, but in HM even 3 atexs will render this to be almost not doable as they strike you 50% faster thus they get 10 hits in in under 2 seconds.
My point was that unless you have at least 600HP or something close to it or over it then this build is pretty worthless. Reason being because just one monk in a group will easily keep a group alive cause they won't be taking enough damage from the Holy Wrath and Rettribution. I also forgot that you get 53 damage with 16 in smiting from Holy Wrath, again only if your health is over 600 and your armor is low enough that your taking that much or more damage after the armor decreases the damage.

You gonna carry on debating what a 600/800HP monk is, or actually post the build and show us what it is?
I have no idea what a 600 is and how you'd use it, so perhaps you experts could put something down...

Sigh you just completely missed what I said about the name. Osk has posted a pretty good version of this build in post #2 and like I said before, use the "search button", this is an OLD build, been around since Factions came out and has been talked about multiple times on this forum, I just did a quick search and found this link:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ht=3+ men+FoW
I've read that thread before and it's similar to what I do, you can run JUST the two monks from that build in hardmode FoW, I'd sub Mantra of Ressolve with Balanced Stance for the Abyssals.

UW is still doable with, I don't know what you did but I have NEVER had problem with Aatex even when I pick on 5 of them in Hardmode, the problem is with the Smite Crawlers as with the speed they are hitting they can take off Spirit Bond before it recharges, a general rule of thumb is never take more than 5 of those at a time in Hardmode. If you just want to farm for Ectos then might as well do this in normal since there is no difference between rare material drops in the different modes.
Btw I know Holy Wrath is doing 53 at lvl 16, I said around 51 that's because of the limitation due to PS.
